Jocelyn Bold - The Photographer

Hello - I’m Jocelyn Bold of J. Bold Photo: a fashion and portrait photographer based in New York City since 2017.

While growing up in Wisconsin, I was fortunate enough to always have a camera at hand, enabling me to record everyday moments.

Having that camera lens between me and the world, I grew more and more curious about how I might shape that world into my own personal stories. Thus grew my career as a photographer.

I have had the opportunity to photograph some stellar subjects: Oscar winner Ariana DeBose, models from agencies such as STATE Model Management, Crawford Models, BiCoastal Model Management, and to cover the NYC Pride Campaign for lululemon Columbus Circle.

The fashion world has always been one of my great loves. As an artist, I’m drawn to photography that feels timeless and that reveals unique narratives to its viewers.

In my work, you will see some of these worlds unfold clearly, while there are others I leave to your creative imagination.
